Frequently Asked Questions about Fragrances:
What is the difference between Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne and Perfume?
The difference depends on the concentration or amount of oils in the fragrance. The higher the concentration of oils will translate into a longer lasting scent and would require less to apply. In order, from highest concentration to lowest is Parfum, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Cologne.
Why do some fragrances seem to last longer than others?
The amount of PH levels (amount of acidity in our skin) will determine how each ingredient in a fragrance will react.
Your skin type also plays a big role on how long a fragrance will last on you. Dry skin holds a fragrance for a shorter time compared to a oily skin. Oily skin has natural moisture to soak and hold in the fragrance.
Is there a way to make my scent last longer?
Applying your fragrance on parts of the body that has a strong pulse will help the scent last longer and be more powerful.
Why does fragrance contain alcohol?
Alcohol makes the scent emanate from your skin. In result, the fragrance is then shared in the air to your surroundings.
